The Blue Tornado is a Vekoma SLC (Suspended Looping
Coaster). Normally every SLC looks nearly the same way, because
the layout
is a standard design.
The coaster features five inversions. The first double inversion
has the characteristic look of a heart. This is the typical track
part, where you always can recognize a SLC.
Also typical for Vekoma is that they use their standard track, but
turned upside down. Compared to a B&M inverted, the SLC looks
more compact and small. One reason for this is for sure, that the
trains do have only two seats on a row.
Riding an SLC is great fun. Its very rough and that's typical for
Vekoma. And for a lot of enthusiasts it's maybe the "kick out
of it".
However, I personally prefer a smooth coasters like Katun (B&M).
The Blue Tornado further features a helix at the end of the track,
which is not included in other SLC's. (It's good visible on the
aerial picture.)
