Take Dragon Khan and turn the track upside
down... But serious, Katun is so unique, that you shouldn't
compare it with Dragon Khan or another European B&M coaster.
Lets say it simple: Katun is Europe's absolute best inverted
rollercoaster to this date (2004) and I like it defenitly
as much as Dragon Khan!

This coaster takes your breath
away, just from its looks, but in the best B&M manner, it
is an out of this world perfect designed ride! Six inversions,
an ultimate height, a lot of speed, a very long track and
a perfect smoothness with wild g's is the perfect combination,
which this perfect coaster offers!
This ride is more than world-class, for me it is a reference
of how good a rollercoaster actually can be. What the Americans
have with Montu, Alpengeist or Raptor, the Europeans now get
with Katun!

An inverted coaster with a lot
of inversions... That means you really get turned upside down
here! This monster is more than wild! It's breathtaking, it's
a fascination that really searches an equal. I heard myself
saying "wow" during my first ride. After leaving
the zero-g roll (b.t.w: The best inversion on the planet)
I couldn't talk anymore... I was so fascinated.
The coaster is actually called "Katun - the mayan adventure"
and themed with a mayan (historical southamerican) styled
village called "sian ka'an". This is the starting point of
your mayan adventure. Here you are entering an action packed
ride not to find anywhere else in Europe... Like already told,
the coaster features six astonishing inversions... And when
you buy the ride-photo, at the end of the ride, you will not
only get a really special picture of yourself, but also a
picture-envelope with all the details about this coaster.
