Sierra Tonante - Mirabilandia's great woodie!
|
|
Sierra Tonante, at Mirabilandia,
is a wild and fast wooden rollercoaster, that was designed
by Werner Stengel. And you can feel his influence.
It features wild turns and the most intense brake-section,
you just can think about.
Longtime being one of Europe's highest wooden coaster's it
is still very high, compared to its length.
It's actually not the longest wooden coaster, but very intense,
featuring a lot of interresting parts. A lot of direction
changes and a lot of drops.
Sometimes it really has a CCI like character. Very special
and very intense is the beautiful helix in the middle of the
track.
It is a welcome additional and different rollercoaster experience,
compared to the inverted rollercoaster "Katun",
that is also located at Mirabilandia.
Sierra Tonante is one of the most intense wooden rollercoaster's
I have ever been to, and together with the beautiful layout,
the wonderful wooden sound and the astonishing look it is
a world class rollercoaster.
All in all Sierra Tonante is a wonderful experience.
