After the release of the old "Sim Theme Park", the new game genre "amusement park games" opened to the public and with the release of the first Rollercoaster Tycoon, it all became famous to a wide variety of gaming people.

For coaster enthusiasts, there are a few games (simulations) around, that really are great and give the fans a nice time on their pc. Here I want to point out some of the best of them.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3

"The most famous" game for rollercoasters and amusement parks is of course the Rollercoaster Tycoon Series. With the third release it comes now in full 3D.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is for sure a milestone in the progress of the series and is probably the best version so far.

It is highly discussed in the forum of the producer, because after release, the game had some major bugs. Now a patch is released and with this, the game starts over and takes you away into your own most wanted amusement park. read more here...

The true rollercoaster simulation on the pc has one name: NoLimits rollercoaster simulation.

NoLimits is "the" greatest rollercoaster simulator for pc. The simulation has been improved over all the years. Today it is able to simulate all the world famous rollercoasters in a perfect way on pc.

Woodies, shuttle coasters, B&Ms, LIM-coasters - you name it, and its there for sure. Even real life coaster-manufacturers use NoLimits for demonstrating their products.
